Hey everyone! I'm looking for a new planner for the new academic year, starting in September (I'm in the UK, so obviously has to be available here!). I've got my eye on this one at the moment, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions, brands they've found especially good in previous years etc? Thanks in advance!

I actually had that planner last year, and it was great! I used the left side like a normal diary/planner and then the right side as a sort-of to-do list for each day rather than the home/work split that they advertise it as. I'm not sure if I'm going to get it again, purely because I don't know if it's going to be as useful for the type of course I'm doing this year but I would definitely recommend it That said, so far I haven't found anything available in the UK that I like better so I'm still planner-less and might just end up reordering for this year, unless anyone else has a fab suggestion!

I've just started using my new planner from ban.do ( www.shopbando.com/collections/agendas/products/2016-ban-do-17-month-agenda-i-am-very-busy - sorry I can't make a better link but I'm on mobile) and I absolutely love it. I'm pretty sure they're an American company, but from what I can tell they do ship internationally. It's maybe not the best planner if you need lots of room to write, but it suits my needs just fine. Plus, it's really cute. That was the selling point for me, to be quite honest. It's got a sticker sheet and really cute spreads for each month. I really, really love this planner and I would suggest it, but I'm sure it wouldn't fit everyone's needs.

Ahhh the ban.do one is the one I wanted for this year, but it's £40 or so to get in the UK which is insanely out of my budget. So jealous!

Really?!? 40£? Even with international shipping, that's insane! It was only 20 USD for me, and shipping was expensivish, like eight bucks I think (I didn't actually buy it for myself, it was a birthday present from my girlfriend), but even then it was less than 30$, and that's like ... 19£, according to Google. There's no way that shipping to the UK could cost another £21? (Hey, random question: is it incorrect to write 20£ instead of £20? As far as I understand, in the U.S. neither way is more correct, but a ,or of people put the sign after the number because that's the way it's said. Just wondering!)

I'm from the UK as well and including shipping, the ban.do planner was about £40. With that as well, you could be hit with a customs charge (luckily I wasn't), so I don't really think it's worth it. I've been looking at some undated planners {they tend to be a little cheaper} on eBay, and I've found this really pretty one { here} which is around £15 with free international shipping! I'm ordering one when I get paid on Friday As for the £ alexandra, we always put it in front of the number {like £10}, I personally haven't seen it written any other way

Oh wow, the ban.do ones are super cute, but £40 does seem excessive. I wish my budget could stretch that much, but alas, I'm just a broke student. Also, Alexandra, the etsy ones look great and I love supporting individual sellers! I'll have a proper look through later at designs, and work out if any of them are right. I don't know why I didn't think of etsy actually, so thanks for pointing me in that direction. Undated ones are also a great shout! I've definitely got more places to look now. thanks for your help guys! (more suggestions still totally appreciated!)

The best way to find good one for you is going into local bookstore that has big variety of books and specially school books. Then few weeks before your school year starts, start going through every single planner and take the best one. If you don't find one that suits you, go to next store. That's the way i found my amazingly good planner. And in our school they also give us planners, that aren't that perfect but there's student discounts you can use, so if your school gives you one, take it even if you already have one. Poor students has to use everything available, right?
